We cleanse the area and can offer a cold compress or topical comfort options if you’re sensitive, keeping the whole experience quick and easy.
Precise Injections
Your provider places a few tiny injections along the upper lip with a fine needle. This part is fast, usually just a couple of minutes, and most clients find it very tolerable.
Aftercare and Go
You’re free to get back to your day right away. We share simple aftercare tips, and your upper lip gradually relaxes into its softer, fuller-looking shape over the next week or two.

Before, During, and After Your Lip Flip
- Check with your own doctor about pausing anything that thins the blood, and skip alcohol a day ahead.
- Bring the list of what you take, prescriptions and supplements both, so we can time your visit safely.
- Arrive with bare lips. Lipstick, liner, and gloss hide the lip line your provider needs to see.
- Get cold sores? Mention it at booking and we build the plan around that before you ever arrive.
- Booked the Mini Lip Combo? Block closer to 50 minutes on your calendar instead of the usual 30.
- You stay upright in the chair, in your own clothes, and the whole visit fits inside about half an hour.
- You will be asked to smile and rest your mouth a few times, so placement follows how your lip really moves.
- Each placement reads as a brief sting at the lip line, and that part is the shortest piece of the visit.
- Want a cold compress or a numbing option first? Ask. There is no prize for toughing it out.
- In the Mini Lip Combo, the flip and the filler are handled in one sitting, so you are not booking twice.
- Stay upright and skip lying flat for the first few hours, then carry on with the rest of your day.
- Hold off on hard workouts and hot rooms over those same few hours, then go straight back to your routine.
- A little puffiness, pink, or a pinpoint bruise can turn up where the needle went in, and it fades on its own.
